The anticipation has been building since Andy Pettitte announced during Spring Training that he was looking to make a comeback with the Yankees. Finally on May 13, 2012 the veteran left-hander was back in the Yankee Stadium clubhouse on Sunday to cap that comeback with his first start since Game 3 of the 2010 American League Championship Series.( www.mlb.com) On Andy Pettitte's first start of the season Pettitte allowed four runs in 6 1/3 innings to the Mariners. Pettitte's first 3 innings of the game he had the Mariners on lock down then he allowed two 2 runs Home-run in the 4th and 5th inning. Though the whole game the Yankees did not give Andy Pettitte run support and ended up losing 6-2 to the Mariners. Andy Pettitte will make his next start on Friday scheduled to come at home against the Reds.
